Where to apply ?

If residing in England, Wales Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernesey, your application must be lodged at the French Consulate General of France in London.

If living outside of the United Kingdom, you should apply for your visa at the French Consulate of your country of residence - i.e holders of ’C-Visit’ visas or of a British visa valid for 6 months or less cannot apply.

 Do you need a Visa From the French Consulate?

Schengen countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

If you intend to visit several Schengen countries, you must apply for a visa at the Consulate of the Country which is your main destination (according to the purpose of the trip and the lenght of stay).

If you do not have a main destination, you should apply at the consulate of the country which is your first point of entry.
