What Possible Future(s) for MOOCs? A Franco-British Perspective

The French Embassy in London organised on the 24th November 2015 a bilateral meeting entitled: "What possible future(s) for MOOCs? A Franco-British Perspective". It gathered 24 top level professionals at the Residence of France.

In Brief:

This meeting was a unique opportunity for MOOCs platforms leaders, higher education professionals, e-learning experts and MOOCs designers from France and the UK to meet and discuss a series of strategic topics related to the development of these Massive Open Online Courses.

Among attendees were representatives of providers such as FutureLearn, France Université Numérique, OpenClassrooms or the Digital Business Academy from Tech City UK. Other attendees represented French and British higher education, scientific and cultural organisations.

After a morning dedicated to participants introduction, attendees had the opportunity to discuss and share their experience during 3 thematic sessions: MOOCs’ models of development; MOOCs and professional training; MOOCs and internationalisation.
