Welcome
In order to improve the standard of service offered to visas applicants, the French Authorities have outsourced the visa application process (from advices to receipt and return of the documents) to TLScontact. This service is available to all regardless of nationality, type of passport, duration and purpose of stay in France.
1/- To apply for a visa?
You will need to visit the TLScontact visas center at:

All applicants must apply in person except children under the age of 12.
2/- How to make an appointment?
via TLScontact’s website: https://www.tlscontact.com/gb2fr
or via TLScontact’s call center: 0845 7300 118, Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
3/. When do I have to submit my application?
At least 15 days but no more than 3 months before your planned dates of travel.
4/. How can I collect my passport?
TLScontact will inform you by email or text message as soon as your passport is ready for collection - attention: passports cannot be withdrawn once they have been delivered to the Consulate and until the visa processing has been completed.
You have the option of collecting your passport yourself or via a designated third party at the TLScontact center or you may choose to have your application sent back by registered mail.
5/. The benefits are outsourcing are:
Appointments at short notice: it should not be more than a few working days;
Customer friendly service;
Assistance in putting together your application: TLScontact will advise you if your application is incomplete before it is sent off to the Consulate;
On-line tracking facilities.
TLScontact’s staff cannot influence the outcome of your visa application. The decision to issue or refuse a visa is made by the French Consulate.
If you do not want to use TLScontact services, you may still apply directly at the French Consulate. Appointments are compulsory and shall also be made by calling 0845 7300 118, Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. The copies of all documents will have to be presented, otherwise the Consulate will not be able to issue the visa. The minimum processing time is 24h00.
