Visa admissibility
To apply for a visa from the French Authorities in London
You must hold a valid and recognized passport/ travel document
You must be resident in the UK - i.e holders of ’C-Visit’ visas or of a British visa valid for 6 months or less cannot apply
France must be your only or main destination: spending more time in France than in any other Schengen countries within the same trip;
or France is the country of the first entry into the Schengen area if you intend to stay the same length in all countries within the same trip;

You must live within the jurisdiction of the French Consulate, London. Residents of Scotland and Isle of Man must apply at the French Consulate in Edinburgh - 11 Randolph Crescent, EH3 7TT -
