In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a community code on visas , please be aware that FROM 5th APRIL 2010, VISA APPLICATIONS LODGED WITHOUT ALL REQUESTED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND COPIES WILL LEAD TO A VISA REFUSAL.
April 2010 : VOLCANIC ASH CLOUD
Please note that as per current legislation, the French Consulate cannot process visa applications for people who are stranded in the UK due to the volcanic ash cloud : unfortunately, people will need to wait for the ban on UK flights to be lifted in order to return back home. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.
As from November 2009, visa applicants need to book an appointment online.
