‘The French Ambassador to the United Kingdom , M. Gérard Errera, presented to Sir Colin Lucas, Warden of Rhodes House (Oxford) and ex- Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford the insignia of Officier de la Légion d’Honneur at a ceremony on 20 October at the Résidence de France.

The Ambassador paid tribute to Sir Colin Lucas, a well-known scholar, a remarkable historian and a friend of France.
