Remembrance Sunday – France and Britain together pay tribute to the brothers in arms who gave their lives for freedom and democracy (12 November)

On 12 November, Remembrance Sunday, M. Jacques Audibert, Chargé d’Affaires at the French Embassy in London, laid a wreath at the foot of the statue of Marshal Foch and observed a minute’s silence. He was accompanied by France’s Consul General and members of many French and British civilian and military associations.

The delegation then went on to Brookwood Military Cemetery where the Defence Attaché laid a wreath.
