Processing delays
Expected delays to secure an appointment at the TLScontact centre:
as a general rule, up to a week
Expected visa processing times:
once your application has been transferred to the French Consulate:
Processing times are given as general guidelines and will vary according to the applicant’s nationality and the types of visa.
for short stay visas: depending on nationalities so either 24 hours or up to 3 weeks
for short stay visas to the DOM/ TOM: depending on nationalities so either 24 hours or up to 3 weeks
for long stay visas as the spouse of a French national: usually 10 days
for long stay visas for studies: usually of 10 days
for other long stay visas: from 1 day up to 4 weeks
Please note that the Consulate will only replies to status queries if the application remains pending beyond the normal processing times.

Expected visa collection delays at the TLScontact centre:
Once the visa has been approved by the French Consulate, the passports are returned to TLScontact which will then send you a text or electronic message. Do not go to the TLScontact center unless you have received this written confirmation.
