Naval Attaché
The Naval Attaché Naval represents the Chief of the General Staff of the French Navy in the United Kingdom. The Embassy’s Naval Attaché’s office is principally responsible for contacts between the French and British Navies (official visits, the two navies’ policies and priorities, exchanges, joint exercises and French liaison and exchange officers on British territory, etc.).
On a day-to-day basis, the Naval Attaché’s office organizes visits by French ships to British ports and obtains all landing and take-off permissions for French naval aircraft on British soil.
