Pierre Moscovici, Minister Delegate for European Affairs, is in London on October 31 and November 1 to take part with his colleague Peter Hain in the closing debate of the colloquium organized by the Franco-British Council on the future of Europe. The two ministers emphasized the two countries’ resolve to participate actively in the discussions on the future of European integration after enlargement as initiated by the heads of state and government at the European Council in Nice.
Pierre Moscovici will also have a working meeting with Peter Hain and will meet British MPs involved in European questions and Tony Blair’s principal advisers on these issues.
