Marie Curie: a pioneering woman in science and much more

In celebration of the International Year of Chemistry 2011 and the 100^th anniversary of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry awarded to Marie Curie, OECD, The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and The British Embassy in Paris organized an evening event: "International heroines in chemistry and science".

Dr Serge Plattard, Science and Technology Counsellor at the French Embassy in London, gave a speech on "Marie Curie : pioneering woman in science and much more".
