Loris Gréaud, Frieze Art Fair

12-15 October 2006

Since the inaugural Frieze Art Fair in 2003, Frieze projects has pursued an ambitious curatorial programme, inviting a selection of emerging and established artists to produce work responding to the fair context. For Frieze Projects Gréaud presents /Why Is a Raven like a Writing Desk?/, an exhibition of his ‘nano-sculptures’ — objects only visible to the human eye through high-power magnification lenses. The nano-sculpture’s display — in a slick, bespoke micro-museum within the fair, designed by Gréaud and DGZ Research — highlights the influence that presentation wields on a work’s content.
