Inria is recruiting 28 young and senior scientists in computer science

Inria is the French National Institute for computer science and applied mathematics.

It has launched its 2016 campaign to hire 28 young graduate scientists, young experienced scientists and senior researchers in the following fields:

  • Applied mathematics, computing & simulation
  • Algorithms, programming, software and architectures
  • Networks, systems and services, distributed computing
  • Perception, cognition, interaction
  • ICST for live and environmental sciences

Young graduate scientist ("CR2")

The following may apply:

  • Holders of a doctorate or equivalent degree;
  • Applicants able to prove publications and scientific work deemed equivalent.

Young experienced scientist ("CR1")

The following may apply:

  • Holders of a doctorate (or equivalent degree) with at least two years’ experience in research
  • Applicants able to prove scientific work deemed equivalent.

Senior researcher ("DR2")

The following may apply:

  • Holders of a doctorate (or equivalent degree) and with at least eight years’ experience in research activities;
  • Applicants with publications and scientific work deemed to be equivalent;
  • Young experienced scientists with three years’ seniority in this grade ("CR1").
