Institut Pasteur International Network is holding a symposium on biomarkers in Paris, from November 29th to December 2nd, 2016.

Overview

The discovery of new biomarkers and their translation into health interventions are crucial to address the challenges posed by Human diseases. Better tools are strongly needed for the detection and surveillance of diseases at the epidemiological level as well as the diagnosis and monitoring of infections and conditions at the clinical level. Their development, including in low and middle-income countries, will be increasingly important in the advent of personalized medicine.

The 2016 edition of the Scientific Symposium of the Institut Pasteur International Network will cover every aspects of research including basic, clinical and operational science, necessary to identify, validate and develop new biomarkers in human health.

All scientists, clinicians and public health experts from both communicable and non-communicable diseases fields, belonging or not to the Institut Pasteur International Network are welcome to attend as well as civil society representatives, government & international organizations officials and industrial partners.

Call for abstracts

The symposium is offering a unique opportunity to scientists worldwide, both young and experienced, to showcase their research on any topics related to biomarkers and their application in global and one health issues to a broad international audience in the Institut Pasteur auditorium in the heart of Paris.

Deadline for submission: 18 July 2016.
