Libya – Communiqué issued by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs

After welcoming, on Sunday, 6 March, the creation of the National Transitional Council (NTC) – which brings together the forces opposing Gaddafi – and providing their support to the principles driving it and the goals it has set itself, the French authorities have decided to recognize it as the legitimate representative of the Libyan people./.
