Nigeria – Statement by Bernard Kouchner, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs

France firmly condemns the serious violence which has hit village communities south of the city of Jos, Plateau State.

I convey my most sincere condolences to the bereaved.

I express France’s support to the Nigerian authorities in their efforts to restore calm and bring the perpetrators of the violence to justice./.
