Eiffel grants for studies and research in France

The Eiffel scholarship programme launched in January 1999 by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is designed to recruit excellent foreign students by higher education in France, at a time when competition to attract elite foreign students is growing among developed countries.

Priorities for 2006-7 are :
 Engineering,
 Business and management,
 Law and political science.

Applications should be made via the French host university or « grande école ».

The Eiffel PhD grants programme is aimed at financial support to PhD students willing to spend one year of their PhD studies in a french university or « grande école ». It is open for stays during the academic year 2006-7 to students of any nationality except French. This programme is particularly convenient for student preparing a joint PhD.
