Briton awarded French arts honour (14.03.06)

On 14 March, the French Ambassador presented the insignia of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres to Graham Sheffield, Artistic Director at the Barbican Centre, during a reception held in the Résidence de France.

Editorially responsible for all the Barbican’s arts programming, Graham Sheffield also directs Barbican Education and is in charge of developing the relationship with the resident London Symphony Orchestra.
