25th birthday of Médecins du Monde and launch of "Project: London" (29.11.05)

The French Ambassador and Madame Gérard Errera hosted a reception to mark the 25th anniversary of the founding of the international humanitarian aid organization, Médecins du Monde (MdM) and forthcoming launch in January 2006 of « Project: London» . Guests included the organization’s president, Dr Françoise Jeanson, and representatives of the British branch, the charity Médecins du Monde UK.

A satellite link was set up at the Résidence de France with an MdM doctor working in Darfur and the photographer Gérard Rondeau presented a collection of photographs depicting the organization’s work.
