Published on 20 October 2010The report on the National Research and Innovation Strategy sets the guidelines for development and competitiveness for French Research in the world and identifies three priorities: first, health, welfare, food and biotechnology in the context of longer life, emergence of infectious diseases and changing lifestyles, then the "environmental emergency" and environmental technologies, to meet the triple challenge of the depletion of natural resources and the division of territories, climate change and the need for a energy independence and finally the information, communication and nanotechnology, now in our everyday life with the Internet revolution.
